The BlackBerry Z30 is the biggest smartphone in BlackBerry's portfolio and can be called the first phablet from the Canadian manufacturer. In terms of display it comes with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720x1280 pixels resolution, translating to a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 320.
It includes 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable up to 64GB and also comes with 2GB of RAM. The BlackBerry Z30 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The new phablet runs BlackBerry 10 OS version 10.2, which includes refinements and new features when compared to the BlackBerry Z10 that was launched earlier this year. It includes a 2880mAh battery which the company claims to deliver up to 25 hours of talktime, while there is no word on standby time.
The BlackBerry Z30 features four stereo speakers with BlackBerry Natural Sound and also comes with BlackBerry Paratek Antennae that delivers faster data transfers.
The BlackBerry Z30 was unveiled globally in September, earlier this year.
In September, BlackBerry also announced a price cut for company's former flagship, the Z10, which is said to be a limited period festival offer.
Previously, BlackBerry Z30's Canada pricing was revealed to be $699 without contract which translated to Rs. 43,000 approximately.
