According to the FCC documents, the alleged HP Android tablet will sport a 10-inch display and will be powered by a 6,760mAh battery. The rumoured tablet is said to be running Android, although there is no word about the OS version. The FCC filing also reveals features like presence of a SIM slot and support for cellular radio with frequency 850/1900MHz GSM networks.
Other features of the alleged HP tablet revealed by the FCC listing include dual cameras (front and rear); microSD card slot; power button; volume rocker controls; HDMI port; two micro-USB ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition, the tablet is seen boasting two speakers at the bottom panel. Unfortunately, not much has been revealed about the innards of the alleged HP 10-inch Android tablet.
Recently, Hewlett-Packard was reported to be seeking buyers for some of its mobile-computing patents.
Prior to this, HP launched $169 priced Slate 7 tablet with Android 4.1. The launch of the Slate 7 marked HP's foray into the Android tablet market.
