Lenovo A6000 Flash Sale Sees 30,000 Units Go Out of Stock in 4 Seconds

In its third flash sale on Wednesday, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo tasted success once again, this time managing to see 30,000 A6000 smartphones go out of stock on Flipkart in just four seconds. Lenovo India announced the news on Twitter.

The company earlier on Wednesday had announced that 30,000 Lenovo A6000 phones will be up for sale in the third flash sale.

The last flash sale saw 20,000 Lenovo A6000 phones going out of stock in just three seconds while the first sale saw Lenovo's budget 4G-enabled smartphone going out of stock in just two seconds.

The company has confirmed that the registrations for the fourth sale on February 18 of the Lenovo A6000 will begin at 6pm IST.

To refresh, Lenovo's pricing for the Lenovo A6000 significantly undercuts the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G - which sells at Rs. 9,999 - and Micromax's Yu Yureka - which is priced at Rs. 8,999. The Lenovo A6000 is compatible with the Band 3 and Band 40 (TDD-LTE) 4G networks used in India.

Other specifications include a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display; a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) clocked at 1.2GHz; with 1GB of RAM; Android 4.4 KitKat with Lenovo's Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top; 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expandability; 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash; a 2-megapixel front camera, and a 2300mAh battery. The company has already promised Android 5.0 Lollipop update without revealing any time-frame. The dual-SIM smartphone supports Micro-SIM cards, measures 141x70x8.2mm, and weighs 128 grams.
